Honeylopement Adventure Collection

The Honeylopements (TM pending) are a curated a collection of 1-2 week long adventure elopement and honeymoon itineraries in California and abroad. These are the places closest to my heart and my most adventurous memories. 

The Honeylopement Adventure Collection is for couples who value one-of-a-kind experiences and epic documentation, but don’t know where to start. You might be looking for a honeymoon that feels more “you” than the big wedding you’re having. You might be saying, “Hey babe, what if we skip the big party altogether and have the adventure vacation of a lifetime instead? We’ll exchange vows while we’re at it.” Whatever your true-to-us hunch is, I’m here to make it a reality. I’ll help you choose an adventure, plan it, and be there to document both the ordinary and the magical.

Salt Flats Elopement

Some of the most beautiful salt flats in the world are Turkey’s Pamukkale Salt Flats, Bolivia’s Uyuni Salt Flats, Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats, and Death Valley National Park. All of these locations can be paired with other incredible landscapes (like mountains or a hot air balloon adventure) to create an elopement adventure with variety that reflects your multi-faceted story.

Iceland Backpacking Elopement

Iceland is the land of a thousand landscapes. The country has so much to offer beyond the basic tourist spots, and the best way to get to them is the old-fashioned way–– by foot! Some great treks include The Laugavegur Trek, The Trail to Glymur, and Kerlingarfjöll.

Peru Adventure Elopement

Peru doesn’t just have Machu Picchu. If you’re looking for a South American adventure, Peru’s got the Maras Salt Mines, Cordillera Huayhuash, the Lost City of Choquequirao, and Vinicunca, also known as Montaña de Siete Colores or Rainbow Mountain.

New Zealand Vanlife Elopement

New Zealand’s South Island has a world of otherworldly adventure and treks, especially surrounding Queenstown and Wanaka. Check out Milford Sound, the Routeburn Track + Key Summit, Te Anau, Doubtful Sound, Roy’s Peak, Rob Roy Glacier, Kepler Track, Mount Aspiring National Park, and Hooker Valley trail.

If you’re looking to elope somewhere unique, Namibia should be at the top of your list. The Camel Thorn Trees set against the stark desert landscape is something out of a Dr. Seuss book. And then you can round out the adventure on a safari!

Where better to have a Swiss adventure than the place the mot inspired J.R.R. Tolkien when he was writing Lord of the Rings? Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland has rolling hills, stark mountain backdrops, and, importantly, more wine and cheese than you can imagine consuming.
