Adamson House Wedding in Malibu || Tara + Mark

Malibu, California Beach Wedding Inspiration || Los Angeles and Malibu Wedding Photographer

I absolutely love when couples choose Malibu for their destination wedding because it’s such a special place for me to share with people who haven’t become dulled to its magic. Tara and Mark came all the way from Canada, land of non-scary world leaders and maple syrup, to exchange their vows at the beautiful Adamson House in Malibu. They absolutely embodied the Canadian spirit of being kind, laid-back, and just the best kinds of people to spend time with. I actually photographed this wedding with a badly sprained ankle (literally on crutches for the reception) and they walked me back to my car and helped me with my things at the end of the night. People who insist on doing that for vendors on their own wedding day are good people.

The historic wedding venue overlooks Malibu Pier and features gorgeous Mediterranean architecture. It photographs extremely well, with stunning exteriors and pretty market lights (a photographer’s best friend). It also provides tons of flexibility for how you want to set up the wedding day. Adamson House is relatively affordable, especially for Malibu, and gives way to the quintessential Malibu vibe. We held the ceremony overlooking the Pacific, and danced the night away flanked by Malibu Pier and the Santa Monica Mountains.
