2022 really saved the best for last with Jovanna and Eden’s chic desert disco wedding at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. Palm Springs was the perfect setting for the other dimension of this adventure-loving duo, whose engagements we photographed amongst the climbing boulders of the Eastern Sierra. Conrad and I left this wedding looking up homes in Palm Springs on Zillow because we could photograph weddings like this over and over again.

With the help of one of my favorite planners in the world (Ellamae Productions), Jovanna and Eden leaned into the bright, modern-meets-vintage, poppy vibe that Palm Springs and the Ace Hotel does best. They incorporated important parts of the Jewish tradition, like the signing of the ketubah, breaking glass, and Hora dance. 

Some of the standout elements of the day for me were the down-for-anything crew who danced their way through wedding party photos, Jovanna’s Chosen by Kyha gown, the Hora (always my favorite to photograph), and the Harry Potter themed signature cocktails. These two really spoke the language of my heart with the details they chose.

It’s a long scroll but so worth it for one of my favorite weddings with my favorite kinds of people at my favorite Palm Springs wedding venue, the Ace Hotel.
