Simon and Tran thought of every detail (with the help of the most talented Los Angeles wedding planning team at Details Darling) for their wedding at the beautiful Saddlerock Ranch and Vineyard in Malibu. They wed on the Main Lawn, which is gorgeously situated in the midst of the Santa Monica Mountains, with a backdrop of grazing horses behind the ceremony site. The reception has stunning twinkly lights and billowy oaks, making it easy to achieve a luxe feel with actually needing to add much.

These two began their day with a mini traditional tea ceremony with their immediate family. Following that, Tran changed into a white dress and met Simon under the oaks for their first look. The ceremony was adorned with an on-trend arrangement installation by Joy of Bloom Florals. They exchanged their sweet vows, and we ran around Saddlerock making the most of the photo opportunities like the famous yellow frame overlooking the Santa Monica Mountains that surround Malibu. And then, the style queen that she is, Tran changed again into another spicy red dress to close out the reception! They popped some wedding champagne and danced all night. 

My favorite photo from this Saddlerock Ranch wedding was the very last one I took all night. I was driving away after a full day of shooting, and had to pull over and get my camera gear back out because the entire scene from afar was too good to pass up. I set the camera on the hood of my car so I could slow down the shutter and capture the stars above. It felt like a perfect end to a day that shone and twinkled from start to finish.
